What I want testing clients to know:
Psychological testing can feel unfamiliar, especially when an evaluation is connected to a court matter, child welfare involvement, or an important treatment decision. My role is to help make the testing process feel clear, organized, and respectful.
Before your appointment, I help coordinate the practical details and make sure the necessary materials and information are prepared. During testing, I will explain each task, answer questions about the instructions, administer the measures selected for your evaluation, and document relevant observations. You do not need to arrive already knowing how psychological testing works. I will guide you through the process.
I approach each appointment with attention to accuracy and consistency while recognizing that every person brings different experiences, questions, communication styles, and support needs. Clear instructions and respectful interaction matter both to the person completing the testing and to the quality of the evaluation.
Professional Experience:
I hold a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I bring nearly six years of behavioral health and assessment experience working with children and adults across clinical, home, community, residential, and day-program settings.
My professional experience includes behavioral assessment, clinical and caregiver interviews, direct observation, record review, data collection and analysis, treatment-outcome monitoring, and clinical documentation. I have also worked closely with clients, families, caregivers, physicians, direct-support professionals, and multidisciplinary providers.
My background in applied behavior analysis supports a careful and systematic approach to psychological testing. It has also given me experience recognizing how communication, environment, and individual support needs may affect a person’s participation in the assessment process.
