What I want my clients to Know:

You are more than the hardest chapter of your life.

Maybe you're carrying shame from past choices, feeling overwhelmed by anger, caught in patterns you can't seem to break, or trying to make sense of an experience that changed everything. Perhaps you've faced legal consequences, are worried you might, or feel misunderstood by the people and systems around you. Whatever has brought you here, you deserve more than judgment or labels. You deserve a place where you can be honest, feel understood, and begin creating meaningful change.

If someone you love is justice-involved, this space is for you too. Having a family member facing charges, on probation, incarcerated, or navigating the aftermath of legal involvement can be exhausting, isolating, and confusing. I work with family members to help them understand what's happening, set steady expectations, and take care of themselves through it.

Change doesn't grow from shame or pressure. It grows from honest self-understanding, recognizing the patterns that keep you stuck, and doing the work to build something different. My goal is to help you face difficult experiences without being defined by them.

Professional Experience:

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Missouri and Illinois with more than seven years of experience providing therapy to justice-involved, mandated, and high-risk clients. I have delivered individual, couples, family, and group treatment to adolescents and adults ages 12 and up across outpatient, court-referred, and community-based settings.

My clinical work addresses relationship safety and conflict resolution, compulsive and problematic sexual behaviors, emotional and behavioral regulation, substance use, and parenting concerns. I hold specialized training in the treatment of compulsive and problematic sexual behaviors and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (Level II), with significant experience treating adults and adolescents whose presenting concerns are shaped by histories of trauma.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailoring my approach to each client's history, goals, and stage of change. My clinical style is calm, direct, and collaborative, and my work is grounded in the belief that lasting change is built on insight and internal motivation rather than external pressure.
